 Arnold, Sir Malcolm

Sir Malcolm will be best known to American audiences as the composer who won an Oscar for the musical score of The Bridge on the River Kwai.  He was a prolific composer, who wrote numerous musical scores for films and also composed seven ballets, nine symphonies and two operas. 

Sir Malcolm passed away in September, 2006.
