Is the Dorian classical music label, located in Troy, NY, still in business?
As of this writing (late December, 2005), the company still maintains a website, but the website appears not to have been updated since Fall, 2003. An e-mail to the company bounced back as being undeliverable.
More research was in order, and we discovered that the Grammy-nominated Dorian Group Ltd. filed for bankruptcy in January, 2005, with debts of approximately $1 million. A shame, really, from our viewpoint as consumers, as the company produced some fine work. We imagine that it's probably not easy being an independent classical music label....
