The Irish College in Paris was founded by Fr. John Lee of Waterford in 1578 and
is credited with providing spiritual, educational and cultural leadership
through a long and illustrious history.
Situated on Rue des Irlandais in the Latin quarter of Paris, its beautiful
restoration in 2002 and the establishment of the Irish Cultural Centre as its
core function has ensured its place as a leader in the development of Franco -
Irish relations.
